Homemade Dusting Spray

We have mostly really old furniture in our house. Our piano is about eighty years old, and the finish is all cracked and very antique-y looking.

Very pretty, but let’s be honest, it never looks polished.

That doesn’t keep me from trying though! And I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by how well this homemade dusting spray recipe polishes your furniture!

Homemade Dusting Spray

This homemade dusting spray is a great go-to option to clean your home without chemicals.

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 2 tsp. olive oil
  • 1015 drops lemon essential oil


  1. Pour all ingredients into a spray bottle – preferably glass – and shake to combine.
  2. Shake before each use.
  3. To use, spray onto furniture, or dusting rag, and dust as normal.
