If one of your goals this year is like mine – to eliminate as many harsh chemicals from your life as you can – then this homemade dusting spray is perfect for you!

We have mostly really old furniture in our house. Our piano is about eighty years old, and the finish is all cracked, and very antique-y looking.

Very pretty but let’s be honest, it never looks polished.

That doesn’t keep me from trying though! And I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by how well this homemade dusting spray recipe polishes your furniture up!

Homemade Dusting Spray

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 2 tsp. olive oil
  • 10–15 drops lemon essential oil

Instructions

  1. Pour all ingredients into a spray bottle – preferably glass – and shake to combine.
  2. Shake before each use.
  3. To use, spray onto furniture, or dusting rag, and dust as normal.
