Hadassah Grace
She’s here! Yes, she. Shortly after she was born, as Gabriel and the midwife were working to get her cleaned up and out, where I couldn’t really see what was going on, I heard Sheryl, our midwife, say, “Turn him this way… well, not a ‘him’ is she?” What? Not a him? Are sure? At that point, I decided the effort of turning around to see for myself was warranted. Sure enough, not a “him”.
Everything is going super well, and Hadassah is an excellent nurser, for which I’m extremely grateful.
She came into the world early Sunday morning, weighing 7lbs, 5oz, and 19 1/2 inches long.
Stay tuned for a birth story… as soon as we get caught up on sleep. You know the mommy hormones are flowing strong when your baby is wailing in the middle of the night, and all you’re thinking is, “Isn’t she precious?!”
