Bath and Body

I absolutely love to DIY bath and body products for myself, my husband and my kiddos. If you have been around the blog for a while, you know that I don’t like having toxic stuff in my home and that goes double for body products that we use! I only want my family exposed to products that are healthy for us.

I have a lot of DIY recipes for bath and body products, including homemade makeup remover wipes, homemade summer deodorant, oatmeal lavender goat milk soap, peppermint toothpaste, Shea butter lotion, homemade face wash and so many more! The list of my homemade body products goes on and on.

Almost any bath product you love can be made at home with non-toxic ingredients. One of the best things about DIY-ing your favorite products is that you can choose the scents you use! You can also decide what kind of ingredients to source.

Homemade Tummy butter isn't just for tummies! I've been using it all winter to protect my skin against the dry cold!   I’ve fallen in love with making my own body products lately, in case you haven’t noticed, and I think one that I’m most proud of is this tummy butter. Lots of tummy butter and Keep Reading

how to tell when your soap is at a trace for beginning soap makers

How do you know when your soap is at a trace? Of course, we all know that “trace” is referring to seeing the path that your spoon leaves behind after as you stir. But how distinct does that path need to be? That’s the question I asked myself the first time I made soap as I stood at the table and Keep Reading

If you’re looking for some easy, homemade holiday gifts, this is perfect! Who doesn’t love a bar of hand-crafted soap? The usual cold process soap-making method takes up to three weeks to cure, and while I honestly prefer that method, we don’t have that much time left before Christmas. With the Keep Reading

DIY Haircut for ladies

I got my hair cut yesterday. Yup. Actually, I cut it myself. Don’t worry, I’ve been cutting my own hair for a while now. Paying for a haircut really stinks, so I used to have one of my sister, or Gabriel, cut my hair. But, I got tired of having such a boring cut, so I decided to try this. It’s Keep Reading
