Looking for a refreshing drink? This fruity iced tea recipe is delicious and the perfect drink to quench your thirst.
- 4 Tea bags (or enough to make one gallon of tea)
- 2 cups mixed fruit, fresh or frozen
- 3 Tablespoons Truvia*, or one cup sugar
- Dash of lemon juice
- There are two different methods to making this tea, and I haven’t decided which one I like best personally. Try them both and decide for yourself!
- Method one:
- Steep tea bags in hot water for five minutes.
- Let cool to lukewarm.
- Add remaining ingredients and enough water to equal 1 gallon total.
- Refrigerate overnight to infuse the fruit flavor into the tea.
- Serve Over Ice
- Method two:
- Steep tea and fruit in one quart of hot water.
- Cool to lukewarm and strain liquid into a gallon jug or pitcher.
- Add Truvia* and cold water to fill jug.
- Serve over ice.
- *We use a store brand of Trivia-Type sweetener which is much cheaper than true Truvia. If you’re store offers the same, I highly recommend it!
- Enjoy!
