Looking for a refreshing drink? This fruity iced tea recipe is delicious and the perfect drink to quench your thirst.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Tea bags (or enough to make one gallon of tea)
  • 2 cups mixed fruit, fresh or frozen
  • 3 Tablespoons Truvia*, or one cup sugar
  • Dash of lemon juice

Instructions

  1. There are two different methods to making this tea, and I haven’t decided which one I like best personally. Try them both and decide for yourself!
  2. Method one:
  3. Steep tea bags in hot water for five minutes.
  4. Let cool to lukewarm.
  5. Add remaining ingredients and enough water to equal 1 gallon total.
  6. Refrigerate overnight to infuse the fruit flavor into the tea.
  7. Serve Over Ice
  8. Method two:
  9. Steep tea and fruit in one quart of hot water.
  10. Cool to lukewarm and strain liquid into a gallon jug or pitcher.
  11. Add Truvia* and cold water to fill jug.
  12. Serve over ice.
  13. *We use a store brand of Trivia-Type sweetener which is much cheaper than true Truvia. If you’re store offers the same, I highly recommend it!
  14. Enjoy!
