My family is divided into salad dressings. Ranch, French, Italian, and Thousand Island.
I used to be in the Italian camp until my mom found a recipe for ranch dressing that used yogurt (or at least listed it as an option if you didn’t have buttermilk), and it was out. of. this. world.
And ever since, I’ve been hooked on ranch.
And then I tried Chick-Fil-A’s avocado-lime ranch dressing, and it was like a lightbulb went on.
Ranch dressing can get better??? Whoa.
And then eventually, I got mature and started trying things without “ranch” in the name. Who knew vinaigrettes were good too? (I know, Italian is a vinaigrette…)
Since then, salad dressing has become something of an obsession, and there’s gotten to be so many recipes here on Frugal Farm Wife, and they deserve their own page. 🙂
