Ingredients

  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons butter or oil
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon prepared mustard
  • 1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cups cooked pinto beans
  • 2 cups cooked kidney beans
  • 2 cups cooked buttered beans

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, melt butter and add chopped onion.
  2. Cook until translucent.
  3. Combine all ingredients into a large pot or slow cooker and mix well.
  4. Season to taste with salt, pepper, more ketchup, brown sugar, etc.
  5. Simmer for at least 20 minutes.
  6. Or cook in the slow cooker on low for several hours.
  7. Enjoy!
