Strawberry Syrup Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups fresh or frozen Strawberries
  • 1/2 cup cane sugar
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 23 Tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 Cups water

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar and cornstarch
  2. Pour water into a sauce pan, and stir sugar/starch mixture in until there are no lumps
  3. Add strawberries
  4. Cook over medium heat, stirring, until syrup thickens and turns clear. 
  5. Serve on pancakes or waffles
  6. Enjoy!
