I love homemade gifts – both giving and receiving.
The work and thought that goes into them! The Quality! The uniqueness!
…But I’m not very good at making them.
Quilting table runnings? Knitting sweaters? Sewing of any kind?
Those kind of homemade gifts aren’t really my strongest skill.
But I have discovered a type of homemade gift that I do really well.
The consumable kind.
I really think that loving the thing you’re making makes a huge difference in your success making it in large enough quantities to share, and I love homemade soap (especially goat milk soap), lotions, lip balms, and other personal care things.
So it makes sense that those are the things I like to stuff gift bags with.
With these kinds of gifts, the only thing I have to do that isn’t really my jam is wrapped them up in pretty packaging.
Here are some of my favorite homemade gifts that are surprisingly easy to make
This one just takes melting a few ingredients down, mixing in some cocoa and peppermint, and pouring into containers. I LOVE this fun chocolate-mint combo! This one also happens to come with cute printable labels.
So creamy and invigorating! I love this one for waking me up in the morning.
Oatmeal-Lavender Goat Milk Soap
This one is soothing and gentle on the skin.
This is another invigorating bar – caffeine through your skin! I love it for its gentle exfoliation.
For sensitive skin, you can’t beat this one for cleansing without drying out your face!
This is a fabulous pampering recipe for gently exfoliating the face.
The best way to pamper your feet ever! Perfect for moms who spend a lot of time on their feet.
For the gal who values nourishing her face, even when she’s cleaning it!
For the person who loves seriously hydrating moisturizers.
