Gluten-Free Breadsticks Recipes

These delicious gluten-free breadsticks are so tasty, you won’t even know they’re gluten-free!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups gluten-free flour mix
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons guar or xanthan gum
  • 1 tablespoon yeast
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • Garlic Salt, italian seasoning, parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Sauce for dipping

Instructions

  1. Mix all dry ingredients together
  2. Add wet ingredients and mix well
  3. Beat on high speed for four minutes using the paddle attachment of a stand mixer (or a hand mixer, or by hand – just do what you can)
  4. Liberally grease an 8×10 inch baking dish with additional olive oil
  5. Scrape dough into center of pan, and use a rubber spatula to spread dough evenly over entire pan
  6. Tip: dip spatula in water to keep dough from sticking
  7. Sprinkle with garlic salt, Italian season (or oregano), and parmesan cheese (omit if dairy-free)
  8. Score dough with a butter knife to outline breadsticks
  9. Place pan in a warm area to rise for 35-40 minutes
  10. Preheat oven to 425º
  11. Bake about 10 minutes until set
  12. Remove from oven, and let rest for five minutes
  13. Cut along score lines with a pizza cutter or scissors
