Sweet-tart cherry filling with a crunchy, sweet crumble topping


  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar 
  • 1 cup white sugar 
  • 1 1/2 cups gluten-free oatmeal
  • 1 1/2 cups flour – if using gluten-free flour, make sure it contains NO added starch.
  • 1 1/2 lbs fresh or frozen cherries + 2 Tablespoons sugar OR use 1 can cherry pie filling


  1. Mix butter, sugars oatmeal, and flour together until well combined. Mixture should be crumbly
  2. Combine cherries and sugar (or if using pie filling, just open your can)
  3. Grease an 9×13 inch baking dish with butter or coconut oil and spread cherry mixture in the bottom of it
  4. Top with crisp mixture
  5. Bake at 350º until crisp begins to brown on top
  6. Remove from oven and let cool for at least ten minutes before serving
  7. Enjoy!
