Breakfast

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and a great way to start your day. However if you are not eating the right foods, you might be setting yourself up to crash early on. These recipes for muffins, rolls and oatmeal are great gluten free ways to get started and fill you with energy. The egg nests, crepes, frittatas and cheddar biscuits are a means of getting started but are fancy enough for a brunch or special occasion when it comes to eating breakfast. These recipes are quick and easy, and even cater to breakfast on the go, such as having breakfast pops, which are great for kids because they will think they are having dessert for breakfast, but also include smoothies for when you can not quite sit down and eat breakfast at the table. You can even take breakfast to go with the travel granola and homemade yogurt. There are enough recipes here that you can surprise your family with a fun healthy gluten free and allergen free start to the day.

Now that I’m nursing a baby however, breakfast has become synonymous with protein. Usually in the form of eggs. Oh, how I love Keep Reading

Sweet Potato Hash Browns

sweet potato hashbrowns

Okay, this dish may tickle your funny bone a little bit.  This past summer, we had a bazillion laying hens, and quite a stash of potatoes that we’d recently harvested, so in an effort to keep our grocery bill down, many of our breakfasts were made of hashbrowns and eggs.  Then Gabriel began Keep Reading
