How I Revamped My Weekend With Google Express

I was given the opportunity to work with Google Express recently, and I’m so excited to share it with you!

Why? Well, here’s my scenario: Gabriel, the kids, and I are going to Argentina next month. Eek! As someone who’s wanted to travel ever since I can imagine, I’m beyond excited!

The problem is, Gabe, as you probably know, has multiple food allergies, and we’re a bit concerned about the availability of allergy-friendly food in some of the places we’ll be visiting.

Oh, protein’s not a problem – Argentina is the land of steak and wine, after all. But what about carbs?

That’s a little bit more complicated when you have celiac disease, you know?

So my plan has been to drive down to Whole Foods and find a bunch of gluten-free snacks to take with us (since homemade snacks won’t stay good for three weeks). I figure we’ll take a larger suitcase than we need to carry souvenirs home, so we may as well stow snacks in it on the way down and make sure Gabe has some good ol’ carbs available while we’re there.

Then along comes Google Express. Honestly, I’d never heard of it, but I was immediately intrigued. I mean, let’s be honest, free overnight shipping is always intriguing!

After about two minutes of browsing, I realized that this may be my ticket to avoiding spending my Saturday driving to the store (which ain’t close), and browsing labels for allergens while trying to keep the kids corralled.

Instead, I read labels and placed my order while sitting on the couch watching TV, and Saturday (today), we’ll get to indulge in our new hobby – rock climbing. Scary, yet fun.

Okay, so enough about my story, here’s how Google Express can benefit you (You’re gonna love it!):

  • Free shipping on orders over $15!
  • Overnight shipping – Squee! I ordered a box on Monday evening, and it came in at 2:00 the next day (Tuesday).
  • Free six-month membership using the code FREETIME.
  • $15 dollar credit for new customers when you sign up and use my affiliate code – that means your first order could be completely free!

Important: to get your free $15, you must enter LYCD9L4NP in the promo code box at checkout.

  • Less time spent shopping, more time spent doing fun things!

I’m really excited that I can shop Whole Foods, Costco, as well as Ace Hardware, and about 18 other retailers through Google Express.

It leaves me more time to bite my nails while Hadassah does this:

But for now, thanks to Google Express, I’m off to pack Gabe’s snacks away so that I won’t be tempted to break into them.
