No-Bake Stained Glass Cookies

These no-bake stained glass cookies are the easiest or the easy no-bake cookies you’ll ever make, and kids everywhere will love them!

Let's be honest: this no-bake stained glass cookies are basically candy. Yum!

I know stained glass cookies sounds so complicated and um, yeah, I looked them up, but I was in a hurry and decided I didn’t have time for that.

I’m all about easy. It turns out that there’s a no-bake version of stained glass cookies, and these. are. easy.

Seriously. It doesn’t get much easier than melting chocolate chips with butter, and adding marshmallows!

Of course, they’re not healthy, at all. If you want healthy, I suggest checking out our favorite healthy no-bake cookies, or healthy no-bake almond-joy cookies. Now those are good!

These turned out to be perfect for our Sunday church potluck – chocolatey enough to attract the adults, colorful enough to lure the kids in. 🙂 Needless to say, we didn’t take a single cookie home with us!

(note: I decided that this recipe called for semi step-by-step photo instructions, so you could see what roughly what it looks like to roll the cookie mixture into a log, so prepare for a picture-heavy post!)

No-Bake Stained Glass cookies

Gather your ingredients:

  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 – 10.5 ounce bag of colorful mini marshmallows

Stained glass ingredients

Dump your chocolate chips and butter into a microwave-safe bowl, and microwave on high for about 1 minute, 30 seconds, stirring once half way through.

Take it out, stir it up, and let cool for a few minutes – you don’t want to melt your marshmallows when you add them!

It looks kind of ugly at this point, but that’s okay, it’ll be beautiful before it’s over!

Once your chocolate is no longer scalding hot, dump in your marshmallows and stir!

The next part is really fun!

You’ll need a large piece of waxed paper, and two twist ties.

Spread your chocolate mix into a log on the waxed paper.

Roll it up, and twist the ends.
