Are you looking for a fall-flavored treat to tickle your taste buds? This Healthy Pumpkin pie smoothie is so delicious, you won’t believe it takes less than two minutes to make!

If you live in the south, you probably have the same dilemma I do: It’s fall, everything is decorated for fall, and you want to eat all the pumpkin drinks and desserts and have chili for dinner but…

You’re in the south. Which means it’s still at least 85º every afternoon.

It’s okay! You don’t have to have pumpkin-spiced hot chocolate to enjoy fall!

Instead, you can have a smoothie, cold and full of nutrition.

It’s no secret that our whole family loves healthy smoothies, and we even make smoothie popsicles. They’re such an easy way to get kids to eat nutrient-dense food they don’t usually care for.

Think kale, spinach, beets, beet greens, collards, even broccoli! If you have a picky eater, you have to try smoothies.

This particular recipe is dairy-free, using almond milk, which is easier on some of us with sensitive tummies, but it goes without saying that you can use any kind of milk you want.

Same with the whipped cream, should you choose to use it (I’m the kind of person who smothers my pumpkin pie with whipped cream – and my smoothie isn’t any different!). You can use real dairy cream or coconut cream.

But the secret ingredient to a pumpkin pie smoothie? Nutmeg. Whatever you do, don’t forget the nutmeg!

There’s just something about the combination of pumpkin and nutmeg that is magical – especially when you add a touch of maple syrup. Delicious!

  1. That’s almost the same recipe I use but I add vanilla protein powder to mine and my husbands. We live in Michigan and the first few days of fall we had 90°plus temps.
