I love cloth diapering because not only is it eco-friendly but it causes less stress for mothers than using traditional disposable diapers. You don’t have to worry about spending additional money on diapers and you can spend more time with your kids. However, you have to pay attention to how your child is responding to using cloth diapers, especially if your child has sensitive skin.  You can make your own cloth diapers and tailor them to your child’s individual and personal needs by using different linings and material. You can make your own diaper linings from scrap cloth and repurposed clothing, which saves you even more money. Just make sure you use breathable materials and strip the diaper once in a while to help prevent diaper rash. Making your own cloth diapers and using them takes a little time to get used to, but the long-term benefits and savings do add up.
